Abstract
We report on a method for improving the statistics of glueball calculations on a lattice. A test calculation is performed, on a 123 × 16 lattice, of the mass gap of QCD in the quenched approximation. We find that, at a β value of 5.7, where β=6/g2, reliable mass estimates can be obtained from two-point correlation functions over 4 lattice spacings.
